We’re looking for a skilled Senior Front End Developer to join our close-knit, high-performing team at Abletech, based in the heart of Wellington.

You’ll work on meaningful projects for a diverse range of clients — designing and building beautiful, responsive, accessible interfaces across web and mobile. You'll collaborate with smart, kind people who value continuous improvement, support each other, and love what they do.

What you'll do:

• Lead front-end builds using React (and other modern frameworks)
• Build mobile apps with React Native + Expo
• Champion great UX and accessibility principles
• Collaborate with designers, developers, and clients
• Mentor other developers and contribute to a culture of learning
• (Occasionally) step up as Tech Lead on projects

Your tookit:

• React, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3
• React Native / Expo for mobile builds
• Interest in AI-assisted coding tools

You're someone who:

• Has senior-level front-end experience
• Understands the value of clean, testable code
• Brings empathy and professionalism to client work
• Enjoys mentoring and team collaboration
• Thrives in a hybrid, flexible environment
• Loves learning and sharing knowledge
