Sprouting into the Future: How we rebuilt Trees That Count

Hasura is a product we’ve had our eye on for a while here at Abletech. We’ve used it for hobby projects, given tech talks on it and even written blog articles on our experience using it. When Project Crimson approached us about rebuilding their Trees That Count application in mid-2022, we thought it was the perfect opportunity to use Hasura and develop a solution that built upon their existing database but utilised a modern, extensible, scalable and maintainable tech stack - all with an organisation that aligned perfectly with Abletech’s core values.

Driving Organic Sign-up with User Experience

When Addressfinder undertook a brand refresh of their website we used the opportunity to redesign the website with a user-focus. With only a 1.9% conversion rate from the features page to sign up and less than 1% conversion from visitors at the site, the site didn’t connect or communicate to users clearly enough to get them to sign up for their Address Verification service.

Dairy giant takes a digital leap to the cloud

Having been in the dairy industry for more than 100 years, LIC understands the importance of agility, innovation and outstanding customer service. And with a team of 750 and more than 1,300 seasonal staff spread around the country, it also knows it needs to get things right. That’s why it chose Abletech to help take its business (and its staff and customers) to the cloud.

    Saving lives every day

When the Abletech team learned about one man’s mission to put defibrillator locations online, they offered to design the website and app for free. Today more than 12,000 defibrillator locations can be accessed in seconds – enabling professionals and everyday Kiwis to give vital and urgent support to people in cardiac arrest.
