This week we said Bon Voyage to Andrew Pett who’s off to explore Canada.
Yes he’s leaving a country blessed with an abundance of natural landscapes, national parks and native bush. He’s going to a country that, let’s face it, also has dynamic and impressive scenery and cities.
He’s giving up Kiwiana for a European/French flavour. He’s trading tuis, skinks and possums for moose, elk and bears. It’ll be maple syrup on his pancakes and ice hockey on his TV now as he goes to live in the second largest country in the world (by area).
Abletechers are a pretty mobile bunch – where there’s internet we’re connected – so Andrew’s able to keep working from overseas.
We will miss having Andrew around Wellington but we’re delighted to see him off on adventures.
Big thanks to Husk Brewery for tasty beers and delicious food on a cold and stormy night that kept our Hamilton Abletechers delayed in the Waikato overnight.
We say cheerio to you both Andrew and Hannah. May your travels be safe and happy.
