Check out this trip that started in San Diego in California and went up to Glacier National Park in Montana.
Andrew Pett works for Abletech in Canada. He and his partner took a 2.5 week roadtrip through the west of the United States of America. They began down in San Diego, and ended up in the Glacier National Park.
They visited San Diego, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Grand Canyon, Red Rock Canyon, Death Valley, Las Vegas Lake, Zion National Park, Salt Lake City, Yellowstone National Park, Kalispell and Glacier National Park. Clocking up 3000 miles in a Ford Explorer 2018.
Highlights include the scenic variety going from south to north - incredible and unexpected. Andrew says, ‘at times I felt like I was in a completely different world’.
‘My favourite location was somewhere we hadn’t even intended on going: Zion National Park. It is an incredible part of the country and I hope I get to go back for more hiking.’
They’ve got their next roadtrip planned — this time it’s the eastern side of the continent. That trip’s scheduled for later this year.
