Team Abletech
This bike ride goes from the top of New Zealand right down to the bottom. It’s 3000 kilometres from Cape Reinga to Bluff. Abletech are proud to sponsor Marcus Baguley and Carl Penwarden who have committed to cycling (bikepacking) the route in February 2018.

Training

Tour Aotearoa isn’t a race, it’s a ride that follows a set course and must be completed between 10 and 30 days. It’s popular; hundreds of people have registered to do the 2018 ride.
Fundraising
As they ride, Marcus and Carl are raising money for the Auckland Cancer Society Research Centre at the University of Auckland. The centre:

develops new, affordable anticancer drugs

supports the training of research students working on cancer

gains a better understanding of the disease
